Opportunity for Students
CRRF eNewsletter
Deadline: December 14, 2015
Each year the Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation (CRRF) devotes one issue of their e-newsletter to profiling students involved with rural and regional development research. This is an opportunity for students to promote their research initiatives (i.e.: thesis/dissertation, practicums, internships/placements, course-based initiatives, etc) and self promotion. This year the December 2015 e-newsletter will profile students from across the country. It is a great way for students to enhance their profile. Students are encouraged to send in a brief submission.
Students are requested to pass along their name, title of their research initiative, a brief description of the research initiative (100-150 words maximum), and a hyperlink where more information can be found (if appropriate). Submissions may be made in either English or French. The deadline for submissions for the e-newsletter is quickly approaching – December 14 (Monday). The submission can be sent to Ryan Gibson (ryan.gibson@smu.ca). The December CRRF e-newsletter will be circulated on December 16.
The CRRF e-newsletter is distributed to over 2,500 people from across Canada, North America, and Europe. Beyond the upcoming student issue, CRRF is always seeking suggestions for rural and regional development stories to profile. Please do not hesitate to pass along suggestions.
