The Olds Institute and the Sustainable Olds Committee are hosting a Community Showcase on November 9th to celebrate innovation, leadership and impact for our flourishing rural economy.
Do you have a story about value added agriculture, leveraging your local economy, empowering youth, or strengthening community culture?
The Community Showcase is free and open to the public to attend, and will be moderated by Mayor Judy Dahl, Town of Olds. The event will also include local music talent and a will be a celebration and showcase of local food and community supported agriculture! Showcase your innovation and leadership on our conference website!
Through active marketing and social media engagement, the conference coordinators and showcase contestants will engage the public to “crowdsource” or “vote” on who will be invited to present on November 9th for the Community Showcase Event. Benefits of Participating

Have an opportunity to present “TED” style during the evening of day-two conference proceedings with potential for a customized video recording of your presentation – this is an exclusive opportunity to participants of the Community Showcase only.
*Community Showcase Criteria: This opportunity is free to volunteer driven organizations, local entrepreneurs and start-up companies, and family owned small businesses in the Olds region.
